Merry Christmas...

Hi everyone! We are getting closer and closer to Christmas and I've created an elegant stitched card for you using Spellbinders® Paper Arts Imperial Square that was recently part of their Sneak Peeks for CHA. I cut the die cut to fit a rectangle sized card and paired it with Richard Garay's Celebra'tions Pierced Squares. I embroidered the piercings with gold thread and finished it off with a pretty red silk ribbon bow to make a one of a kind holiday card!

~ Enjoy!

Wow Darsie, What a milestone 1000th is such a lot of work on your part - but we know it doesn't even seem like work to you. This box is so beautiful - love the color, just looks so wintry. Hope you are not too bogged down with snow in New York. Thanks for the chance to win a super selection of dies. I could use some more LOL.

A 1000th Post Celebration!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be sharing my 1000th blog post with you, and I'd like to take this time to thank my readers for joining me on this fantastic art journey. For those of you who have been with me from the beginning or have joined recently, there are no words that can express my gratitude. You've seen my work blossom, watched as I explored many different art forms and I've felt your presence and encouragement every day!

You've lived amazing milestones with me, from the day I joined my first design team, to the excitement of being picked as a Spellbinders Design Team member and a JustRite Papercraft Designer. I'm honored to be the Special Projects Designer for my favorite crafting supply store, The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, and an Artist In Residence for Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko. I've been very lucky to work and design with extremely talented men and women, and create with wonderful products from various crafting/stamping companies!

To say that I am living my dream, is an understatement! Thank you so much to everyone who has believed in my work, and I'm looking forward to another 1000 posts!!!

I've created this lovely Poinsettia Christmas Box for you (supplies are listed below) and I have a fantastic Blog Candy prize package to give away! Details are at the bottom of this post!

Mr. and Mrs...

Here is another pretty vintage tag in my "Victorian Women" series featuring beautiful images drawn by artists from the Victorian era. My image today is from Charles Dana Gibson, an illustrator who created the "Gibson Girl", an iconic version of a woman of the time. You can read all about him HERE

I paired the inked drawing with Spellbinders die templates and a two-toned bow created from silk ribbon. Supplies are listed below!
