Blessing in my Life...

It's amazing to me how one intricate die template from Spellbinders® can make such a gorgeous card in so little time! I created this card today within 30 minutes by simply cutting and embossing Majestic Labels Twenty-Five from white cardstock and layering it with foam squares. My pretty filigree stamp is part of Stamping Scrapping® Floral Blessings, and I embossed with gold to match my sparkling glitter paper. Another luscious bow made from silk ribbon, a Prima Rose and one of my decorative stick pins (exclusively sold at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) and the card was finished! Elegance in less than 30 minutes, I love it!

Ornate Birthday ...

Today, I've created a fancy birthday card using Spellbinders Paper Arts® Tapestry and though it looks complicated, the die pretty much does all the work for you! Simply cut/emboss/stencil and you have a background to build on. I left a lot of the detail showing as this is such a pretty die template. I added a frilly silk ribbon bow, stamped a sentiment from JustRite Papercrafts on a small tag from Pearl Effects, and topped it off with an ICE Resin® filled Circle Hatpin. My sweet butterfly is from Susan Lenart Kazmer's Ephemera Paper Three pad.

Fancy Potpourri Lantern...

I am back from the Spellbinders Retreat, feeling thankful and inspired! It was an amazing experience meeting all the design teams and trying to absorb just a small amount of their incredible talent! Lots of photos were taken and shared on Facebook! One day I'll show you what I look like as a "nerd". That's right, we had "Nerd Night", and it was so much fun.

I created this pretty project a while ago, but didn't have a chance to post it! This little lantern would be great to hold your favorite potpourri and then hang it on a doorknob, or from a hook in the ceiling. It would also be gorgeous done up in Christmas colors and used for an ornament to hide a secret gift. Or you can tuck a flameless votive inside and use as an actual lantern!

I created the basic lantern with Spellbinders Paper Arts® Nested Lacey Pennants (I cut off the scalloped portion of the pennants). Cut/emboss 4 of the pennants from patterned paper and lay them on your table with the longer edges side by side (pattern side UP). To create a sturdier lantern, cut/emboss 4 additional pennants out of rust cardstock (remove scalloped portion), then adhere the pattern paper pennants to them.

Adhere Lace Doily Motifs #2 (with #1 being the smallest die) on the edges that are kissing. You'll do this four times, which will form the lantern. Cut/emboss Lace Doily Accents strip twice, and adhere them to rust cardstock (this forms your handle). I fussy cut around the edges, but you can leave it straight if you wish. Adhere the handle to the inside of your lantern and decorate as desired. I used Lace Doily Motifs #3 around the top edge of the lantern and hung pretty jewel danglers from them!

I used JustRite Papercraft's Always and Forever Medallion Labels for the sentiment and medallions, and once again, I fussy cut around the embossed stamped images, then adhered them to the lantern with 3D Foam Squares. I added a lot of KaiserCraft Pearls for bling and pretty pearl jewel rosettes for the center of the ornate stamped medallions.

Secret Garden ...

I created this sweet card using JustRite Papercraft's "Secret Garden" background stamp! This turned out so lovely, and I'm thrilled with it!! I stamped the background with Versamark, then embossed with white Embossing Powder on white cardstock. Once again, I find myself using the Faber-Castell Gelatos and I love the soft look I achieved with this card! I used my baby wipe technique and used two shades of pink and green for it.

I wanted the background to stand out, so I just used the Filigree Corners dies by Becca Feeken and topped them off with Pink Silk Ribbon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store bows and pearls. My card was finished!

Today's August Release by JustRite Papercraft is two gorgeous sets! We have the Dotted Fronds Background Stamp by Becca Feeken and Large Elegant Sentiments by Amy Tedder. The background stamp is very versatile for all kinds of creations, and the sentiments are perfect for any occasion!

I paired my stamps with Spellbinders® Paper Arts Lace Hearts designed by Samantha Walker, and made a pretty rose using Spiral Blossom One. I added some Foliage, a yummy silk ribbon rose and used Want2Scrap Nestabling Pink Pearl Scalloped Hearts for embellishments.
