I am officially a design team member for 7 Kids College Fund! I just love their store! They have a fabulous and versatile selection of stamps, dies, and embellishments for papercrafters! Every other Wednesday, they have a Challenge and my first task was to "Try Something New".
My new item is the Spellbinders Spiral Blossom One which makes into a fabulous rose! I used white Bazzill paper and cut out the Spiral Blossom. I then took an dry embossing stylus and swirled it around to break the fibers and give the petals a more realistic appearance. I rolled up the blossom, and glued it to make the rose. Next, I took a Tombow pink water-based pen and colored the edges of the rose then spritzed it with water causing the ink to bleed. Voila, a gorgeous rose to accompany the sweet Belle by CC Designs.
My designer paper is from the "Yours Truly" by Echo Park and I also used Spellbinders Classic Hearts and Scalloped Hearts.
Oh so very pretty! LOVE that flower on this cute and pretty card.
