In every prayer...

My post is dedicated to my Daddy, who passed away 11 years ago today. With the recent passing of my Mom, I've been remembering the last trip I took with them to Sedona, Arizona and the Grand Canyon. I was very lucky to have had so many wonderful times with them, getting to know them as people,and as a loving couple. I learned that they were more than just my Mom and Dad.  I miss them so.

My card uses a sentiment from "Words of Comfort" by Deedee's Digis.

I created a pretty card today using the "Parrot Tulip" digi set from Fred, She Said, and a sweet sentiment stamp by Inkadinkado.

Designer's Choice Challenge...

It's time for a new Challenge series over at the House that Stamps Built! We hope you all had fun with the CASE Wednesday series, and we're looking  forward to the next few months with this new concept. 

Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!  All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the "theme" for the challenge! Robin is the next designer up and her theme is to make a card using the colors: Robin's Egg Blue, Rust and Kraft!

Cuppa Love ...

Sometimes a simple card can say so much, especially for sending to a special someone to lift them up. I created my card using the Cuppa Love digistamp set from Deedee's Digis!  There are so many different images in Deedee's vast selection for simple or complex card making!

Meljen's Release and Challenge...

Its Thursday, and another new release and challenge for Meljen's Designs! The images this week are dedicated to our "HEROES" near and far, who help and aid us, and those fighting for freedom. My project uses the "Doctor Bear" and I created a wrapper for a miniature tissue box. This is a great pick me up for a little one who is sick with a cold! Our Challenge this week is to create a card or project with a MASCULINE feel to it! These images are perfect for the challenge!

Gifts of Spring ...

Here's a  cute gift idea to tuck into the little one's Easter Basket! I used a simple acetate pillow box and filled it with delectable fruity jelly beans. I printed "Gifts of Spring" from Deedee's Digis and cut it out, then colored with Copic Markers. Tied white tulle around the box, attached the image, then added the sentiment from "Eggstra Pretty" and I was done!! Hop over to Deedee's Digis and find a lot of fun images to use for your crafting!

Easter is coming up in a couple of weeks and now is a great time to start working on your cards for loved ones! I created a fancy Easter Card using "Eggstra Pretty" for my image, and it is accompanied by a simple yet elegant Easter Greeting.

Here's a Clean and Simple card using a new image called "Parrot Tulip" from Fred, She Said. I colored the tulip with Copic markers but remember, most of Fred, She Said images also come pre-colored for ease! My sentiment is from Close to my Heart.

Here's a cute gift idea that works up quick and is perfect for the little ones for Easter! Walmart is selling these cute little bags of Hershey's Reeses Pieces in the shape of a carrot! I used two of Deedee's Digis darling Easter images called "First Peek of Spring" and "All Ears", created a tag and sentiment, then tied it with a bow! Simple and fun!
