My greatest achievement is being a proud mom of three amazing adult children who have inspired my hopes and dreams. Originally from Virginia, I currently live in a small town in Upstate New York where I create my works of art. My parents, though gone, are a constant in my life and I miss them every day. I also have a brother and sister who encourage me to be the best I can be, and it is my goal to never let them down.
I do not remember a time when I wasn’t dreaming or creating as I grew up. One of my favorite memories is the day I pried up a piece of dried mud and etched a turtle into the surface, colored it with crayons and gave it to my father for his birthday. My creativity grew when I moved to New York during my marriage and renovated a Victorian mansion back to its original splendor. After my divorce, I opened a gift shop in the Victorian and created my own line of products with handmade packaging.
I then ventured into fabrics and enjoyed several years of learning how to quilt. Frustration in not being able to line up my points led me to crazy quilting, then to altered arts and artist trading cards. My ATC work caught the attention of a local stamp store owner and from that moment on I became an avid fan of paper crafting. For the past three years, I have been honored to design for many rubber stamp and digital stamp companies.
