Designer's Choice Challenge...

It's time for a new Challenge series over at the House that Stamps Built! We hope you all had fun with the CASE Wednesday series, and we're looking  forward to the next few months with this new concept. 

Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!  All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the "theme" for the challenge!  I volunteered to be first, so my theme is one of my all time favorites: "SCENIC"!

You are to create a card that best represents a scene, and Repeat Impressions has a ton of fabulous stamps for creating beautiful landscapes. You can make a basic scene with a simple tree, or you can create an inspiring vista!

My card today uses "2906-I, Bottoms Up" and side portions of "211-P, Chickadee at Rest". My sentiment is "3103-F, Live for...".

My card fits the Belli Challenge as well with "Think Seamstress" as the theme! My "ribbon" is actually seam binding and I put some beads on a stick pin and inserted into the center of the bow.

Stamp of the Week - Easter Egg

Repeat Impressions "Stamp of the Week" is on their blog "The House that Stamps Built", and the "4505-F, Easter Egg (sm)" is the featured stamp! My sentiment is "1305-G, Eggs-tra Special". A quick gift...

I've created a quick gift you can create for a friend, loved one or your favorite tea drinking buddy! These work up very easy, and resemble a large matchbook. Inside you can tuck a teabag and a sweet note as I have. I used "Tea-riffic" for my sentiment, and a new image coming out April 1st called "Coffee Time Teddies". You'll definitely want to pop over to Deedee's Digis to get this new image!

New Releases and Challenge at Meljen's!

It's Thursday, and you know what that means! Another new release and challenge over at Meljen's Designs! This release is focused for girly girl time! Makeup brushes, fingernail polish, cell phones, all the things for young and older girls!!

I created a fun Fingernail Polish purse for my niece, and I just know that she'll love it! She had green nails for St. Patrick's Day! How can life be more fun than that?? My purse uses the image "Fingernail Polish". I added Glossy Accents to give that look of "lacquer"!

My card is doing double duty today for the Belli Challenge and the "CASE Wednesday" over at "The House That Stamps Built". I am using a sweet stamp called "3908-I, Celebrate Spring " from Repeat Impressions.

Emma with Strawberries...

Here's a sweet card I created using a precolored Fred, She Said image called "Emma in the Strawberry Patch". Both Emma and the large strawberries are included in this digi set. I love the fresh look to this image.

Lucky Teddy...

I created a cute card for St. Patrick's Day using the "Lucky Teddy" image from Deedee's Digis. I just love all shades of green! I colored this sweet bear with Copic Markers, used the Hydrangea punch by Martha Stewart for the diagonal border, and finished with baker's twine, rhinestones and a sticker! Easy as it comes!

Today there is a New Release and challenge at Meljen's Designs and it fits perfectly with St. Patrick's Day next week! The new release features delightful and whimsical St. Patrick's Day themed images and our challenge is to make a card using the color GREEN! Spring Flowers...

Well, we just got another foot of snow, and I'm sore from shoveling snow! So I created a Spring Card because I so desperately need bright sunshine right now!  My card uses the images "Spring Flowers" and "Ornate Butterfly" from Fred, She Said.

First Peek of Spring

I tell you I am definitely ready for spring. The winter snow, dismal skies and cold weather lingers far too long in my point of view. But if there is no winter, then how can we appreciate the beautiful spring, right?
