JustRite Papercraft and Faber-Castell Blog Hop...

Today is the second day of the JustRite Papercraft and the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog hop! Both design teams are showcasing amazing projects to inspire you! Today the design teams are playing with Faber-Castell Gelatos.

Gelatos are an emollient-based water-soluble medium that glides smoothly onto nearly any surface to create rich swaths of pure color.  They may be blended without water using your fingertip or a blending tool, or with water using a paintbrush or damp cloth. They are often referred to as 'smooth as butter" or like 'painting with lipstick', but there is no oily residue and their water-soluble qualities make them very compatible with other mediums. 

Use on all types of paper, cloth, canvas, wood and other porous surfaces as well as rubber, foam and clear stamps.  They are available in 22 opaque colors and 6 shimmering metallics.  They are light-fast, acid-free, archival, odorless, water-soluble, permanent and work great on dark surfaces.

To create my gorgeous background, I used a baby wipe and rubbed it against the tip of a gelato and then smoothed the wipe onto my mixed media paper in various areas. I next added a different color and repeated the process until I was happy with the results. It's so easy to blend the colors with the moist baby wipe! My color sets were the Faber-Castell Gelatos Blue Set and Green Set. Once the background was dry, I stamped the left side of my panel with the Antique Damask background with Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts StazOn Black. To finish it off, I added a sentiment, pearl and lace trim, a pretty rose and a fluffy silk ribbon bow.

I just received the most scrumptious package from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, and I just had to create this sweet Easter card using Graphic 45's newest paper pad, The Secret Garden! I am soooo in love with this collection with it's vintage tones and floral prints! And the coordinating seam binding samplers!! Oh my goodness, I am in ribbon heaven! JustRite Papercraft March Release - Day Four

Today is Day Four of the JustRite Papercraft March Release and we are introducing two fabulous stamp sets! One is a delightful monogram "Graceful Monogram" set that is perfect for stationary, weddings, etc., and the second is another beautiful background stamp called Grand Damask Background Stamp.

I love the background stamps as it creates an elegant "designer" paper with a little bit of Versamark and white embossing powder.  To finish the card all you have to do is add a few layers, a pretty border, silk ribbon bows, topped with a sweet rose and you are done!!

Today is Day Three of the JustRite Papercraft March Release! This is such a pretty stamp set! I am so ready for spring and the delicate lilies that line our roads are so beautiful. JustRite Papercraft March Release - Day One

Welcome to Day One of JustRite Papercrafts March Release.  This month we have 6 Fabulous sets for you and several of the sets are designed to coordinate with the newest custom dies that were released at CHA in January.

Before we get started with the release I have a big announcement that you are going to love!  Although Postal Prices have gone up, JustRite will be offering Free Shipping on all U.S. Orders over $50.00 and $10.00 shipping for all International Orders over $100.00. They have also lowered their shipping rates on International Orders too!

Today we are also very excited to officially welcome Margie Higuchi as the  newest design team member.  Margie will be helping us inspire JustRite Fans in our expanding Japanese Market.  Margie projects have been featured in magazines here as well as in Japan. She currently works behind the scenes at Spellbinders Paper Arts as a member of the Web & Marketing Team and its Newsletter Editor as well as designing for several other companies.
