Sweet Butterfly...

I had fun with the Our Creative Corner's Sketch Challenge this week. I didn't even use a digital or rubber stamp on it! Can you imagine? I did use a pretty butterfly from a die I got from England! and I layered it onto a scalloped circle cut out. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the lower edge, some silky rickrack for the upper portion and my flowers are from Prima Marketing. I sponged on Memento Pear Tart ink onto the wings of the butterfly, then finished the card off with sparkly rhinestones. My designer paper is from the "Porcelain" pad from Basic Grey. Card size: 4 3/4 x 6 inches

  2. The butterfly is so beautiful, and you enhanced it perfectly - what a lucky find from far away !! I have that cuttlebug folder, and have never used it, but you gave me some ideas about depth with it, I had thought it was $$ poorly spent. Not so ! It is 9 minutes into a new day, and already I found my card of the day !!! (great happiness and prosperity come with my award you know...)
