Joy to the World...

Hi everyone! Today, I have created a pretty holiday scenic card using a beautiful stamp called by "Christmas Cottage" from Stampendous and I enhanced it by using Spellbinders® Paper Arts Reindeer and Sleigh, with tiny poinsettia flowers from the 5x7 Holly Frame die set. 

I stamped the image on watercolor paper with StazOn ink, then painted it with watercolors for a soft wintry look. I added my die cut elements, sparkly glitter, a sentiment from JustRite Papercraft Gift of Faith Clear Stamps stamped onto Petite Labels One and finished it off with gold pearls.  A lovely card for someone special at Christmas!

Winter Scene...

Hi everyone! Today is the last day for the JustRite Papercraft Christmas Release! By now, I am sure you are inspired to start creating your holiday cards! The final stamp set being released is Festive Grand Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamps and I chose to do a watercolor sky with my Spectrum Aqua Markers. A wintry scene with the stamped reindeer makes a pretty card!

For my blog hop project, I created this pretty scenic Christmas card using Magenta's Snowy Evergreens and the Deers and Reindeers Stencils. I've created my scenic sunset using Creative Inspirations Paint Buttercup, Raw Sienna, Pumpkin, Burnt Clay, Rustic Red, Burgundy and Coal in that order with a wet paintbrush. My poppies are from Spellbinders® Paper Arts Die D-Lites™ Asters and Poppies and I cut/embossed from black cardstock. My sun uses Standard Circles LG, and my JustRite® Papercraft sentiment from Autumn Vintage Labels Three is stamped on Die D-Lites Frame One. 

Journey...

Every once in a while, I find myself having the urge to go back to where I began with stamping. Scenic stamping is a passion that I have not done in a while, but it still lingers in my creative soul. I love getting my fingers inky with delicious color and finding stamp sets that perfectly fit a scene. Inspired by Theresa Momber's "Wild About You" from GinaK Designs, I created this colorful scenic card for you to enjoy! I also used some of the newest dies released at CHA from Spellbinders: Fanciful Lattice and Gold Sentiments. My inks of choice for scenic stamping is the fabulous Memento inks from Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts. You can find the supply list below!

This card is personal to me as I journey forward with Spellbinders® Paper Arts! Once my term with the 2012 Design Team is over at the end of this month, I am thrilled to announce that I have been asked to join the prestigious Spellbinders Blog Team with the amazingly talented artists: Becca Feeken, Heidi Blankenship, Debbie Olsen, Sherry Cheever, and Seth Apter. Craft a Scene...

If you're a frequent visitor to my blog, you are aware of how much I love to do scenic stamping! I was excited to learn about the new challenge blog "Craft a Scene" and their purpose is "to provide an opportunity for paper craft designers to showcase their scene projects." Their first challenge is "Anything Goes" so I created this delightful scene using scenic stamps by Repeat Impressions.
