JustRite Papercraft July Release - Poinsettia

Today I have a pretty card to show you featuring JustRite Papercraft's newest stamp sets called Christmas Inner Thoughts and Festive Poinsettia! My background is a Sneak Peek at a new stamp being released in August called Lace Oval Background. I so love this background and will be using it a lot in the future, I'm guessing!

JustRite Papercraft July Release - Day Two

Today I am very excited to introduce JustRite Papercrafts newest Christmas Ornament stamps. This year they focused on matching the largest ornament die elements in the Spellbinders® Heirloom Ornament Die Series. I can't wait for you to see what the design team created with today's set.

I created my ornament by stamping the large circle ornament with Versamark and embossing with white powder. I stenciled Memento Paris Dusk ink with a sponge dauber over the image, then scored the ornament down the middle. I cut/embossed 8 of these, then adhered them together as shown. I added a pretty silk ribbon bow at the top and pearl swirls for some extra bling!

Bless You...

I created this card to show off the beautiful new Gold Labels Four die templates from Spellbinders® Paper Arts! These dies are so pretty when they are layered on top of each and using their companion dies, Labels Four. This card looks complicated, but if you dissect it, you'll see that it's not.

To achieve these results, just take the largest die of Gold Labels Four and nest Labels Four inside, then cut/emboss as usual. Leave the paper in the dies and stencil all of the exposed area with your chosen color! Remove the dies and you have your first layer. Continue nesting Labels Four dies inside the next Gold Labels Dies, cut/emboss and stencil until you have the three pieces shown.

I added the colorful Cherry Blossoms branch with the smaller flowers for added interest, and topped those off with leaves and pearls. I used the smallest Gold Labels Four die for my sentiment from JustRite Papercraft Antique Autumn Tags One and added it to the center! Adhere your pieces together, then mount them on panels of black and white, then to a black card. You can change it up by turning the card vertical, changing the color of the flowers, etc. I embossed my black panel with the Dainty Dots Side A folder to add even more texture!

Google Reader ...

Hi, everyone, I just want to make sure you are all aware of a situation with Google Reader. Many of you read my blog via that format. Come July 1st, Google Reader will be no more. So, unless you do something to replace it, you will have lost your favorite blog posts daily. I DO NOT want you to leave and I hope you can reach my blog via any other format you feel comfortable with.

Here's a quick and easy card for you to create when you are in a hurry! I created my background using gelatos and a baby wipe, and you can see the full technique HERE! Once my background was how I liked it, I stamped JustRite Papercraft's Sweet Lace Background with Black StazOn ink onto it. I left a portion blank so I could add my sentiment from Large Fancy Sentiments. I finished the pretty card with black seam binding and a pretty Prima Rose! It's as simple as that!
