Featured Stamper...

That's right! I am the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast Stampers this week!! I'm so excited and honored to be chosen! It's so wonderful seeing so many card makers going through my gallery and picking out a card they like, then trying to recreate another card like it! It's called CASEing a card and it's the highest form of flattery in my opinion. Click HERE to see how it all works!

7 Kids Color Challenge...

It's Challenge #40 for the 7 Kids College Fund and the theme today is "Colors - Red, Pink and White". I had fun creating this sweet card for Valentine's Day. I used the Light Pink Honeycomb paper from the 7 Kids store, and made darling hearts for Nora to rest on. All you have to do is trace half a heart onto the honeycomb paper than open it up. It's as simple as that! It comes in a variety of colors as well!

My card is also doing double duty for the Belli Challenge where you need to make a card or project with a Heart on it!

Designer's Choice Challenge...

It's time for the Designer's Choice Challenge over at the House that Stamps Built! Miriam is the next designer up and her challenge was to make a card with Heat Embossing! I used a different approach to the ordinary heat embossing by stamping my snowflakes on glossy paper with Versamark and embossing with clear powder. Then I dabbed on Alcohol Inks all over the card, including the snowflakes. Once the ink was dry, I took the heat gun and reheated the embossed snowflakes and the alcohol inks shifted to show the white cardstock underneath. A fun technique you should try. You can see another card HERE where I used this same technique.
