Belli Challenge with Quietfire Designs...

It's time for the Belli Challenge and our theme is "Christmas in July", so I chose a gorgeous calligraphy style stamp called "Hold on to the Spirit of Christmas" by Quietfire Designs for my sentiment. (You can see the tag I made using this same stamp HERE.) 

I paired it with last year's Spellbinders™ Layered Poinsettia die templates along with Labels Eleven and created this beautiful card! Add some Basic Grey paper, pretty lace, swirly pearls, glass glitter and silk ribbon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and you have a stunning creation!

Belli Challenge...

It's time for a new Belli Challenge #143 and our theme for the next two weeks is "Baby/New Arrival"! I created a fast and simple baby card using stamps from Fiskars and sweet paper from the new S.E.I. "Vanilla Sunshine!

To create my border, I used Spellbinders™ Edgeabilities® Classic Edges Two (Classic Petal Edge) with Classic Decorative Inserts Three (Pointed Edge). I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo black ink, added a bit of shading with a Copic Marker and added a pretty silk ribbon bow from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. I finished with a few of my decorative pins (you can purchase in my Etsy shop) and topped it off with a pink twine bow.

The challenge this week on  The Belli Challenge is to make a card or project with an animal! My card is a clean and simple card using Crafter's Companion Say it with Flowers stamp set. I used Basic Grey patterned paper, a bit of twine, and some shading and I was finished!

Designer's Choice Challenge...

It's time for the Designer's Choice Challenge over at the House that Stamps Built! Karen is the next designer up and her challenge was to make a Spring card using pastel colors! My image stamp is  "1309-J, Easter Lily" and my sentiment is  "105-G, To plant a garden..." by Repeat Impressions.

I used Spellbinders Label Seventeen for my embossing and it was super easy to create this look! Simply tape three of the dies together and emboss using your rubber mat and favorite cutting/embossing machine!

It's Belli Challenge time as well, and I am using more Repeat Impressions stamps for my creation! The challenge is a Sketch challenge and you can read all about it here! I used "9012-M, Dandelion Breeze" for my image and a sentiment from Sweet n' Sassy stamps for my card!

Challenges...

Today we're focusing on Challenges! I have cards in 3 fabulous challenges to show you, and I encourage you to play in them all!! 

First, we have the Designer's Choice Challenge on the House That Stamps Built blog and Joy is the next designer up and her challenge was to make a card using something that is leftover from another project. I had started a card and used Spellbinders Edgeabilities on a piece of glitter paper, but that card seemed to go into another direction, so I put that piece aside. I pulled it out for the background for my card for this challenge, and am quite pleased how it turned out. My stamps are "912-K, Tulip Bouquet" and "8622-D, Because" from Repeat Impressions. The dies I used in this card are Nested Oval Medallion Labels by JustRite Stamps, and Spellbinders Edgeabilities Classic Triple Scallop. The image was colored with Copic markers and my silk ribbon is from May Arts and Stamp Simply.

 The second challenge is from 7 Kids College Fund Challenge blog and our challenge was to make a Monochomatic card! I love CC Design images (carried in the 7 kids store) and I just had to use Swiss Pixies Nora for my card. My sentiment is from Winter Words - Clear by JustRite Stamps. A satin bow and sweet snowflake buttons finished this card!

And the last challenge is the Belli Challenge, where there is a recipe to follow: 1 ribbon, 2 designer papers, 3 colors and 4 rhinestones/pearls must be on your card or project. My designer papers are from the s.e.i. Promise me stack and my sentiment is from Sweet n' Sassy Stamps.

7 Kids Color Challenge...

It's Challenge #40 for the 7 Kids College Fund and the theme today is "Colors - Red, Pink and White". I had fun creating this sweet card for Valentine's Day. I used the Light Pink Honeycomb paper from the 7 Kids store, and made darling hearts for Nora to rest on. All you have to do is trace half a heart onto the honeycomb paper than open it up. It's as simple as that! It comes in a variety of colors as well!

For my creation, I used Laying Nora, Light Pink Honeycomb Paper, and Be Mine - Just Because Popcorn Bear.

My card is also doing double duty for the Belli Challenge where you need to make a card or project with a Heart on it!

Belli Challenge - Frames

It's time for the Belli Challenge and we are to create a fancy frame or frame an image! I created my frame using Spellbinder's Labels Twenty and a pretty floral stamp set by Inkadinkado.

It's time for the Designer's Choice Challenge over at the House that Stamps Built! Dawn is the next designer up and her challenge was to make a card using the colors Blue and Brown! My stamp is  "8912-I, Snowflake Solid (lg)" by Repeat Impressions.

Designer's Choice Challenge...

It's time for a new Challenge series over at the House that Stamps Built! We hope you all had fun with the CASE Wednesday series, and we're looking  forward to the next few months with this new concept. 

Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!  All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the "theme" for the challenge!  I volunteered to be first, so my theme is one of my all time favorites: "SCENIC"!

You are to create a card that best represents a scene, and Repeat Impressions has a ton of fabulous stamps for creating beautiful landscapes. You can make a basic scene with a simple tree, or you can create an inspiring vista!

My card today uses "2906-I, Bottoms Up" and side portions of "211-P, Chickadee at Rest". My sentiment is "3103-F, Live for...".

My card fits the Belli Challenge as well with "Think Seamstress" as the theme! My "ribbon" is actually seam binding and I put some beads on a stick pin and inserted into the center of the bow.

Celebrate Spring ...

My card is doing double duty today for the Belli Challenge and the "CASE Wednesday" over at "The House That Stamps Built". I am using a sweet stamp called "3908-I, Celebrate Spring " from Repeat Impressions.

My card is doing double duty today for the Belli Challenge and the "CASE Wednesday" over at "The House That Stamps Built". I am using a cute stamp called the "Clover Bunny" from Repeat Impressions. 

Golden Girl...

The House That Stamps Built has CASE Wednesday today! One of the team's designers will create a card, and the rest of the design team and participants are to CASE the card. To CASE a card is to create a new card using the same layout, or colors, etc. of the original card.

Today is Belli Challenge and you have to create a card or project with the theme "SNOW". Well , I got a new punch set by Martha Stewart and just had to show it off! My image is from Imag-e-nation Just Inklined Digi's. As you can see, I glittered the heck out of it, for the snow and went crazy with the rhinestones!

Belli Challenge - Christmas Robins

It's Belli Challenge day, and our challenge this week was to put something with an R on our creation! I am using Red, Robins, and Ribbon for my card! My Robins are part of the Christmas Birds Series from Fred, She Said! I created this Waterfall card using an exclusive diecut from Creative Cuts and More. When you pull the tab on the card, you'll see more birds!

 

Belli Challenge - Something New

It's Belli Challenge time, and our challenge to you this week is "Something old, something new, something borrowed or something blue!" Now you don't have to do them all, and it doesn't have to be wedding themed! I chose to make a project with "Something New", but I did make it into a wedding favor! What did I use new? I used a new wedding stamp set by Inkadinkado, a new polka dotted tulle, and the Leaves on a Branch Trim punch by Martha Stewart which I just purchased last week.

Belli Challenge - Flocking

It's Belli Challenge time and your challenge is to use flocking or flower soft! I had this gorgeous black flocked paper that was perfect for my image by Fred, She Said. I colored "Winter Cardinal" with Copic Markers and my designer paper is Basic Grey's "Jovial". "Winter Cardinal" will be available some time this week at the Fred, She Said store! Belli Challenge - Pumpkins/Fall

It's time for the Belli Challenge and our challenge was to make a card with a Pumpkin or Fall Theme! I did both! I used a beautiful digi stamp called Pumpkins & Sunflowers by Fred, She Said for my card. We had the option of using a sketch, and I used it with designer paper from Cloud 9 Designs and the Paper Studio.

It's time for the Belli Challenge and this week we have to put a number on our creation! I whipped together a fast 40th Anniversary card for the challenge!
