Critter Challenge Blog Hop!

The Critter Sketch Challenge is celebrating their 100th blog posting with a Blog Hop! I am Guest Designer for Meljen's Designs and there is a lot of wonderful eye candy and a chance for prizes in store for you as you hop along.

Don't Worry, Bee Happy!

Today is Critter Challenge Day and the challenge was to incorporate at least 10 different items on your card! Well, I had no trouble doing that, and I went over, which I'm sure everyone expected! My image is from Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Stamps and it's too cute!

These are the 10 items I have on my card for the challenge: 2 Cardstocks, 1 Glitter Cardstock, 3 Designer Papers, 4 images, 2 rhinestones, 1 ribbon bow, and 4 die cuts! Card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches

Here's a sweet card I made today! This card fits the Sweet Stop Sketch, and the color combination over on the Critter Challenge! This cute image is by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and you can find it HERE! They have a lot of adorable mouse digistamps! This card also fits the Our Creative Corner Challenge!

I printed Milton Reading on Whisper White cardstock, and colored with Copic Markes. I cut him out with a Nestabilities die, then sponged on Memento Summer Sky and New Sprout ink before removing him from the die! My designer papers are from Die Cuts with a View and Doodlebug. I added pearls, a pearl swirls and a satiny ribbon to finish the card! Card size: 5 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches

I printed him out on Whisper White cardstock, colored with Copic Markers then cut him out with a Nestabilities die. I sponged ink on the edges before removing the image from the die. My background papers are from the Paper Studio, and my sketch is for the Critter Challenge Blog! (Sketch Below) I added ribbon bows, rhinestones, and punches to match the sketch. My stamp is from Studio G. Card size: 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.

I stamped my "Easter Bunny" image on Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic Markers then mounted it to glittery teal cardstock. My designer paper is from My Mind's Eye and I added rhinestone flowers and dots for my "jewels". My ribbon is from Michael's and I used a corner Martha Stewart punch on the small circle. My rhinestone ribbon slide is from Hobby Lobby.

I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White Cardstock then colored with Copic Markers. My background papers are glitter cardstock and polished stone glossy paper. I vpunched my glittery cardstock with a Martha Stewart punch, added a pretty bow, a sentiment sticker and rhinestones to make this an easy and fast card! Card size: 5 1/2 x  4 1/4 inches.

(Dealing with a migraine can be lousy, and I spent most of the day in bed with it! I'm so glad I had my next few days of cards stock piled in my stash. I also have to have 2 root canals done on Thursday, so if you don't see a post from me, you'll know I'm still not up to crafting.)

Today is the 4th Critter Challenge and our challenge was to "make a card using an image that has a flower in it. The image itself can be a flower or it can be an image that has a flower somewhere in it. The second part of the challenge is to use the color combination of blue, yellow and green." Lucky for me, I was able to find a designer paper that fit those requirements and my image is from Paper Jewels, the Sponsor for the Critter Challenge this month!

I stamped my imaged using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White cardstock, then colored with Copic Markers. I mounted the image to a red cardstock panel. My sentiment is a digistamp from Sweet 'n Sassy's Love Sentiments I and I printed it on Whisper White cardstock. I cut it out with the Labels Nine Nestabilities then adhered it to a red cardstock piece. The designer paper is from the "Kids Stack" by Die Cuts with a View and I mounted it to a blue card. I added "faux" stitching around the edges of the image and the sentiment label, added rhinestones and finished it off. Card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches.

Critter Challenge...

There is nothing we like more than SURPRISING our challenge participants on the Critter Challenge Blog. We will normally only have 1 give a way a month. It will be given at the end of the month. We were not going to give our first one until the end of March. However we thought it would be fun to SURPRISE you and give one away at the end of this week. My image is by Wags 'n Whiskers stamps and I stamped it on Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copic markers then mounted it onto peach cardstock. My designer paper is from Die Cuts with a View and I added button brads and a pretty bow for embellishments. I used two new Martha Stewart Punches called Deco Fan and Eyelet Lace. Card size: 5 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches

My cutie patootie card uses a new digital stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy! As you know, they have gone all digital and they have some of the most darling images I've ever had a chance to create with!

I printed the image on Whisper white cardstock, then colored with Copic Markers, and mounted it to red cardstock. My designer papers are from the "Pet Stack" from Die Cuts with a View. I finished the card off with heart brads and a brown grosgain ribbon. Card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches

I showed this card to my son and he said "now this is a MAN card!" YAY!!!!!!!!! I did it!
