There is a Season...

Hi everyone! Today I have a pretty card using The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's newest stamp set called "Sunflower Season". I simply stamped two sunflowers on cardstock, then colored with Copic markers. I added some Aqua color spray for the background, stamped my sentiment and was finished!  All supplies are available at the store!

Snowman Hat...

Hi everyone! Sometimes I think the winter is never going to end! We did have 40 degrees yesterday and the snow melted a bit, but there's still more to go. With hope that the snow will be gone soon, I've created this darling snowman's hat from a paper mache' hat I purchased on clearance at Michael's after Christmas.

I stamped up the large snowman from Stampendous® Jumbo Top Hat Snowman stamp set and a portion of the sentiment strip and colored it with Copic markers. After the hat had been painted and dried, I added icicle pine, pearl sprigs and lots of snowflakes using Spellbinders Paper Arts® Snowflake Bliss, and Snowflake 2013 Pendant. I just love the pink striped gingham ribbon, which was perfect for my hat, from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. I have multiple views of the hat, and the supply list is below!

~ Enjoy!

Thought of you today...

Here's a sweet card I created for the Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple challenge! I love my fancy cards, but the CAS look is growing on me! I just need to learn how to keep it clean, especially when I have so many embellishments lying around! Heck, I didn't even put a ribbon on it, which is rare indeed for me!

Of course, this was a very quick card to make! I folded a piece of Bazzill cardstock and used Spellbinders™ Grand Labels Twenty-Three Grand Nestabilities® to cut out my card. To do this technique you place the folded edge just inside the die, run it through your Grand Calibur® machine, and you get a die cut card.

I embossed a white piece of cardstock with M-Bossabilities™ "Flower Fun - Side B" and cut out three strips of 3 flowers and adhered them to peach cardstock. I used Copic Marker R22 for the flower centers. I attached my three floral pieces to my card and stamped a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

For my final touch, I created a pretty flower using Shapeabilities® Bauble Blossom Two. I airbrushed the blossom while it was still in the die with Copic Markers, then assembled my flower and used a pretty pearl brad for the center. I added it to my card and was pleased with the results!

Warm Wishes...

I am having so much fun working on projects as I gear up for the holidays! It's so nice to create something as a gift and to be so pleased with how it turned out! My project uses Creative Cuts & More die cuts: Milk Carton with Snowflake #4 Large and Snowflake #4 Small. Remember, my discount code is CC&M10Darsie for 10% off your entire order!

My darling image and sentiment is from Deedee's Digis called Warm Wishes which I colored with Copic Markers then cut out. I distressed my snowflake die cuts, then added more decorative snowflakes to finish it off!

This project qualifies for the Play Date Cafe Challenge!

Wedding Planner...

Today is Belli Challenge day, and our challenge was to find something at home and alter it. I used an old notebook that I had purchased from Staples about 1 1/2 years ago and was underneath a pile of papers! The notebook is sized 7 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches and my papers are from DejaViews "Sweet Romance" that I purchased at Michael's.  The glorious butterfly is the Monarch Butterfly from Fred, She Said Designs. I colored the butterfly with my Copic Markers (R83, R85, R89).

Happy Monday Challenge...

There's a fun challenge over on Deedee's Digis Challenge blog today! For the Happy Monday Challenge you are to use the colors of  turquoise/ocean blue, pink and green! They are giving away the flipflops and sentiment so you can play along! I printed and cut out my flip flops then colored them with Copic Markers. I added a fun flower pearl to them, but you can just color the flower in the image if you want! I was thinking about adding tiny pearls along the straps, but will save it for another card! I used another piece of Basic Grey "Lemonade" paper for my background and finished it off with a multi-colored bow!

There's a lot of things happening this week, so make sure you tune in everyday, to join in all the fun!

Holiday Sunday - Wicked...

Well, it's Holiday Sunday and I've made the cutest darn card for Halloween! The digistamp is from Tiddly Inks and she's called "Higglety". I colored her with Copic Markers, and my designer papers are from Basic Grey "Eerie" paper stack. The fabulous spooky letters I got today at Michael's! How can you not love the witches shoe ribbon? Terri got me to buy that one!! The spider web is a stick on by Jolee's!

Belli USA...

Over on the Belli Challenge, we are playing with a sketch and making patriotic cards! Mine uses a letter set from Inkadinkado, and my background paper is from the Paper Studio. I colored the rhinestones with my Copic Markers and the small sentiment stamp is from Studio G. My large star rhinestones are from JoAnn's dollar section! I love those bargains!

Poppies...

Midmight Madness has a great sketch this week and the design team got to choose their own image, so I chose the Poppies from Delicious Doodles. I just love this image! My background papers are from the Basic Grey "Stella Ruby" collection, and I colored the image with my Copic markers.

Birthday card...

Here's a birthday card I made for a horse lover! The lady I made it for, gave it to her sister and she loved it! The horse is from an Inkadinkado clear stamp set, and I colored it with Copic Markers after stamping onto Whisper white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. My designer paper is from the "Porcelain" stack from Basic Grey! Card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches

a True Friend ...

My card uses the new CLEAR STAMP set called "Poppies & Greetings" which was recently released. by Sweet n' Sassy Stamps. What I love about this stamp set is how crisp the images stamp, and the delightful little greetings that come with it. They are a perfect size to stamp in small spaces on your card. The set includes 2 images and 9 sentiments, and measures approximately 4 x 4 inches. This is a MUST have set, in my eyes!

I used tons of gold and white pearls, and colored the wreath with Copic Markers. My sentiment is from the See D Morsels Scentiments stamp set. The border punch is from EK Success.
